Thank you for attending our Spring 2027 tryouts for the Carolina Forge. This document presents some details regarding our program and an offer to play on our Spring 2027 Baseball team. Season Information
Our Spring 2027 season tournaments will begin in March and run through end of June. No tournaments in July.
Practice Information
Practices will begin indoors in January and move outdoors in February as weather allows to prepare for March tournaments. Offseason practices will include speed and agility, hitting, and fielding instruction and practice, and small groups for positional reps. Plan for at least one practice up to 3 per week as scheduling allows (allowing for participation in winter sports, etc.). In season practice - normal practices 2x per week in addition to speed and agility day + small groups, hitting and pitching and position work. All practices (indoor facility and outdoor) will be in the Gastonia/Gaston County area.
Tournament Information
Carolina Forge participates in Top Gun and USSSA tournaments in the Greater Charlotte Area. All of our tournaments are *local to the Charlotte area within an hour or so and are Saturday/Sunday or "Friday Night Lights". Weekend tournaments are typically 2 games on Saturday and 2 games on Sunday. Friday nights are 2-3 games all on Friday night. Our teams will play 8-9 tournaments for the Spring season.
*Our 10U and 11U Spring Teams will be participating in one overnight trip in the Shipyard tournament in Charleston, SC.
Scheduling of tournaments - we will try and accommodate any planned vacations, but not guaranteed, for tournaments. As we move forward with onboarding your player, we will ask for any weekends you will be unavailable for tournament and will do our best to accommodate in our scheduling process.
Costs + Financial Commitment
Our Fee schedule below covers all of tournament entry fees, coach salaries (all coaches are paid a salary including head and assistants), practice facility, and speed and agility. Our organization also participates in fundraisers to help offset costs for player dues in addition to organization expenses for indoor facility usage, equipment, and other costs that aren't passed on to players.

8U Team - $1,000.00
9U Team - $1,050.00
10U Team - $1,100.00
11U Team - $1,150.00
A $100 deposit will be required before December 15th, 2026 which will apply to your dues balance.
Payment plans are customized to each player - you can select monthly payments starting either January, February, or March and will run through June. Payments will be due on the 15th of each month. Any fundraising participation can be applied to the dues balance OR to reduce the monthly payments.
Uniform - the uniform is purchased through our outside vendor and includes 2 full uniforms jerseys + pants + socks and belt. The cost of the uniform is $220 for the base package and can be upgraded depending on pants selection (full length, tapered, knickers). We do have team bags and there are 3 options available - standard bag $175, catchers bag $185, or supersize catchers bag - $235.
